Music Midtown Moves Festival to 2021

In a year marked by numerous cancellations and delays, several music festivals have opted to shift their events to the following year. Among these is Music Midtown, a celebrated event in the Atlanta music landscape, which has also opted to postpone its festival until 2021.

Since its inception in 1996, Music Midtown has been a pivotal element of Atlanta’s music culture, attracting more than 50,000 attendees each year on average. The previous year’s festival featured prominent acts such asTravis Scott, Cardi B, Panic! At The Disco, and Vampire Weekend, alongside performances from Billie Eilish, Charlie Puth, Lizzo, Walk the Moon, and numerous other artists. However, in response to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the festival has prioritized safety and decided to postpone until next year. They shared this news with ticket holders via their Instagram account:

The 2020 edition of Music Midtown, originally set to feature headliner My Chemical Romance, has been rescheduled for September 18-19, 2021. Your tickets will remain valid for the new dates, and if you’re unable to attend, you can request a refund. Further details will be sent directly to ticket holders via email. While some ticket holders have expressed their disappointment upon hearing this announcement, the festival is committed to providing full refunds and honoring tickets for the updated dates in 2021. With My Chemical Romance reuniting after a nine-year break from touring, next year’s Music Midtown is shaping up to be an exciting event.
