As summer approaches and the sky brightens, festival season is on the horizon. The excitement is palpable, particularly for enthusiasts of house and techno festivals who are likely familiar with Eastern Electrics.
Originating in 2007 within the confines of a warehouse, this year marks the sixth edition of Eastern Electrics, poised to be the largest festival yet. After a successful run in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, the event has chosen a secretive central London venue for this year’s festivities. What we do know is that it’s conveniently located near tube stations and offers excellent public transport connections across the city—how thrilling!
The main stage will once again be curated by the Eastern Electrics team. Last year featured top-tier performances from the likes of Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers, and this year promises even more excitement. Hot Since 82 will be presenting the highly anticipated industrial Switchyard stage, which in the previous edition welcomed talents such as Kolsch and Breach, providing electrifying beats for the sun-soaked crowd. Skream returns to lead The Bigger Top stage, while the well-respected Defected label will be taking charge of its smaller counterpart, The Big Top. With contributions from Viva Warriors, Rinse, and exclusive VIP experiences, this festival is not one to overlook.
Mark your calendars: Eastern Electrics is set to take place in London on Saturday, August 5th, 2017.
