Since opening in 2017 at the former site of the beloved Space (a loss that still stings occasionally), HÏ Ibiza has shown us that when one venue closes, another can emerge, overflowing with excitement, flair, and rhythm. Looking ahead to the 2018 Ibiza season, the first residency to be unveiled at the club is Glitterbox. Celebrated as the current epicenter of disco, this party will take over the Playa D’en Bossa venue for 17 Fridays.
The past six months have seen Glitterbox skyrocket in popularity. With their shows selling out well in advance around the globe and establishing a firm presence in London, the parties promise a musical utopia coupled with extravagant flair. In addition to hosting their signature events, Glitterbox also produces a radio show that consistently ranks high on iTunes for podcasts, while their record label boasts tracks from artists like Debbie Jacobs, Mousse T, and The Shapeshifters.
Returning to Ibiza, Glitterbox kicks off on June 1st, promising to deliver disco delight every Friday (with the exception of August 3rd) until September 28th. While the lineup is still under wraps, it’s expected to feature as many stars as in 2016, when the party included regulars such as David Morales, Todd Terry, Purple Disco Machine, and Basement Jaxx, as well as special appearances by renowned names like Armand Van Helden and Crystal Waters.
In celebration of its second season and in appreciation of its guests, Hï Ibiza is adjusting its ticket pricing for the upcoming season. Diverging from the usual ticketing practices on the island and responding to customer feedback, Hï Ibiza has introduced a tiered payment system with various ticket price options. Starting with a special Super Early Bird rate of only €20, this is an excellent opportunity to secure the best ticket prices and simplify your summer plans.
